We did not set out to build a product. We set out to transform surgery for millions of people.
We believe that patients should be receiving the highest quality of care. We think robotics is a solution to bringing minimal access surgery to more people. With Versius, our goal is to empower surgeons to transform how surgery is performed across the world.
Our approach
Both our technology and approach are different. We want to enable surgeons to deliver what’s best for their patients. We partner, rather than sell so that patients, surgical teams and hospitals benefit from the value that MAS brings.
How we got here
In 2014, our 5 founders asked some big questions. Why are many people still not getting minimal access surgery? How can we change this? From here CMR has grown to becoming a global business headquartered in Cambridge UK.
Today, Versius is being used in routine clinical practice to deliver high quality surgical care to patients around the world.
The scale of the mission is significant. We have a laser focus; but have retained our open, friendly, and collaborative approach. Our values underpin the way in which we operate and are integral to our success.
